I’m happily married to a great wife and mother of our four children. We live in the lovely upstate area of South Carolina where I have had the unique privilege and humbled to have served as a senior pastor for nearly 6 years before the Lord opened the door for us in early 2015 to lead in launching World Relief’s first office in South Carolina and only the second refugee resettlement agency in the state. We transitioned out of that role to launch the Acts 17 Initiative in mid-2016 to equip churches to engage in serving the foreign born peoples here in the U.S. To learn more about that ministry or how you can partner go here.

As I’ve been blessed by God’s grace to be able to participate in pastoral ministry and missions over the last 19 years in over 25 countries. My hope is that by God’s grace, His strength, and for His glory to minister and serve in a way that is faithfully living out Micah 6:8 “…what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God”

My heart echoes what Psalms 96:3 says “Declare his glory among the nations,
his marvelous works among all the peoples!” and my prayer is that this blog may encourage and help equip you to do the same.
